WE'VE MOVED

The new site is officially up and running! We'll still be making adjustments along the way, but overall, we here at Our Hearts Unhindered are content enough to move from one location to the next. To move with us, click here.

About

Magdalen Aithne Arkwright is a college student writing under a pseudonym about topics important to popular culture and close to her heart.  Before applying to Franciscan University of Steubenville, she attended her local public school, Saint Joseph Catholic school in a neighboring city, and then was taught at home for six years and was graduated from Seton Home Study School.  Born in Connecticut, raised in Massachusetts, graduated in Virginia, and furthering her studies in Ohio (and briefly abroad in Europe) – Meggy feels that she still has so much to experience in life.  She embraces life with open mind and wide embrace, afraid but undaunted.

Meggy has been writing stories since she was very young, and has filled over eight personal journals since she was nine.  A redhead by birth, she has a fiery passion for what she believes in, and she wants the world to hear her [pen-named] voice!  She loves gardening, baking, and reading, and enjoys to dream about a beautiful future.  Her eyes change color, her freckles get darker in the sun, and although Irish, her skin tans in the sun as of a couple of years ago.  The actual color of her hair as it is these days remains a matter of debate.  "Strawberry-blond" generally has the most votes.

"Our Hearts Unhindered" is a phrase from the letters of Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque: "May the sacred fire consume our hearts unhindered and make of them thrones worthy of a holy love."  Meggy has long been drawn to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and she now dedicates this blog to her Lord Jesus Christ, hoping against her flaws that her writing will tell the world what it needs to know in the way it needs to hear it.

The blog itself is written by a young adult mainly for young adults as they transition from the teen years to adulthood and settle a world for themselves.  However, most topics can be read and appreciated by all.  [Caution: Content on this blog may contain material not suitable for children under thirteen.]  Topics include social media, relationships of various kinds, and Catholic issues, as well as controversy.

Everything posted here ought to be in accordance with the Absolute Truth, and all statements should be in line with the Holy Roman Catholic Church under the Pope.  If anything does not fulfill this promise, constructive criticism is welcome.
